The first proceedure is to remove the mirror glass. If it's already broken then no need to worry too much but if it's not you'll need to remove it very carefully to prevent it breaking. Lever behind the glass with a suitable plastic removal tool or get as many fingers behind it as possible. NB The tool shown is not available for retail sale.

Pull off the electrical connections from the back of the glass (not fitted if non heated)

To remove the mirror cap (outer casing) press down on the 2 x plastic lugs and pull the cap away from the housing.

If changing the indicator repeater, remove the 3 x T20 Torks screws. Pinch the retaining clip and the main housing will come away.

The indicator repeater is now free to remove as it was being held by the lower two screws which are now removed. Unplug the unit and replace.

Refit in reverse order being sure to spread the pressure across the mirror glass when pushing it back on. Now test your hard work!
